I am a highly experienced and licensed Nursing Officer in the Nigerian Air Force with over 18 years of progressive clinical, administrative, academic, and leadership experience across critical care, psychiatry, aeromedical evacuation, and nursing education. I currently serve as Commanding Officer Nursing at the Nigerian Air Force Reference Hospital, Bauchi.
I hold a Bachelor of Nursing Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Master’s in Mental Health Psychiatry Nursing (in view), with additional ongoing doctoral studies in Health Informatics and Mental Health Nursing. My professional development includes advanced training in aeromedical evacuation, critical care nursing, leadership in global health, infection prevention and control, and emergency medical response, including certification from the United States Air Force Aeromedical Evacuation Foundation Course and American Red Cross Basic Life Support.
My clinical expertise spans intensive care, emergency nursing, psychiatric nursing, and aeromedical evacuation operations, complemented by extensive experience in healthcare leadership, policy implementation, and nursing education within military and civilian healthcare systems. I have served in key roles including ICU management, medical ward supervision, clinical facilitation, and institutional administration within Nigerian Air Force medical facilities.
I am passionate about continuous professional development (CANEI), evidence-based practice, and improving healthcare delivery systems through innovation, leadership, and digital health integration.
