About Candidate

I am a young ambitious and motivated doctor and have completed a postgraduate structured training of 48 months in general paediatrics. I have worked both at junior level as well as at registrar level as a chief resident in my previous roles. I am reliable and experienced physician and have wide experience across a range paediatrics au specialities and have worked as general practitioner post completion of training. This has equipped me with the skills and competencies which would be highly desirable for this position.

In my previous role, I was responsible for conducting morning rounds independently on weekends, planning and management of ward based patients and supervised juniors colleagues in neonatal ICU and emergency departments. To elaborate further, my schedule included rotating on daily basis between emergency ward, ICU , nursery and NICU . I had been the team lead at all these different sites and remained involved teaching and simulations proactively overseeing juniors and ensuring that the best clinical practices are delivered to the highest standards. Furthermore, I attended outpatient clinics alongside consultants , conducted ward rounds in out of hours , participated in emergency calls, provided out of hours cover.

To ensure continuous professional development, I regularly participated in morning MDT sessions, attended departmental teachings and organised and delivered short and long case presentations and collaborated in mortality and morbidity meetings, managed juniors doctors on call rota and remained part of the medical students examination invigilator.

Apart from clinical commitments, I had remained involved clinical governance projects and conducted audits. I also conducted a research project which has been submitted for peer review. I continuously thrive to learn and contribute and I believe, given my background experience and desire to progress, contribute and learn, I will be a great addition to the team.
